This book is designed for the absolute beginner. If you have always wanted to know how to create beautiful pysanky, this book is for you. You will learn the basics such as history of the art, how to choose an egg, and what tools you will need. Also you will learn how to select the wax and how to mix the dyes. This book is designed for someone who already knows how to create, at the minimum, a basic pysanka. If you don’t know how, I highly recommend purchasing the book above first.
This is a step-by-step book to provide instructions on how to create 8 lovely modern pysanky. The designs range from beginner to advanced-intermediate. Even if you consider yourself a beginner, don’t be surprised if you can do the advanced-intermediate designs too!

In this book, I show you how to create jewelry made with real eggshells, using Ukrainian designs and wax/dye techniques. You’ll also learn how to create mosaics as well as hanging ornaments. Plus I cover how to create an etched egg with beeswax and an acid as well as working with exotic eggs like emu and ostrich.
